Indus Net Technologies (INT.) Wins at ET Bengal Corporate Awards 2018

While The Economic Times needs no introduction, it’s corporate excellence award ET Bengal Corporate Awards is also well-known among business circuits across India. ET Bengal Corporate Awards 2018 was held at the Taj Bengal on the 16th of March and sought to encourage business growth in Eastern India. These awards have inspired many businesses to achieve higher and scale new heights, thanks to the exemplary standards the winners have always set. This year’s ET Bengal Corporate Awards saw many known faces in the Indian business community participating as dignitaries, delegates, and of course, as the jury for the awards. Mr. Ashok Sen, the associate VP of The Times Group, revealed that there were 322 entries this year. Of these, 165 were publicly listed. He addressed everyone at the event in his welcome speech, which drew applause. Participants and dignitaries from West Bengal were joyous when the guest of honor Mr. Amit Mitra shared a report on West Bengal’s progress over the years. Mr. Mitra is the MIC of finance, industry, and commerce, Government of West Bengal. Indus Net Technologies(INT.) – Proud Digital Partner for ICC Website Revamping

Yet another feather in our hat! Indian Chamber of Commerce, the premier business and industry body in Eastern & North-Eastern India, launched its refurbished website yesterday; and team Indus Net Technologies(INT.) was the digital partner for this website revamp. ICC and Indus Net joined hands to give a facelift to the old website of ICC, with a brand new mobile-friendly design. This redesigning of the website was done keeping in mind the benefit of its members and staff & the Indian Entrepreneurs’ community at large. ICC partnered with Indus Net(INT.) for the full-scale redesign of their website, which has well-catered to people for the past six years, with a brand new design that includes contemporary responsive design trends. INT was chosen for this website revamp project because of its extensive experience in working with the Government and Public bodies. It has recently helped the District Administration of Bardhaman in designing and developing a mobile application known as ‘Smart Bardhaman’ for the citizens of the district. The citizen governance app was launched by Hon’ble Chief Minister of West Bengal, Smt. Mamata Banerjee. We have even been a part of Hon’ble Prime Minister’s visionary project ‘Digital India’. Team Indus Net Technologies has designed and developed the citizen governance mobile app ‘MyGov’, which was launched by the Prime Minister himself during the opening ceremony of ‘Digital India Week’. Aimed specifically at increasing the ease with which any member can interact with the Chamber, ICC decided to give its old website a refreshed and simplified look, combined with enhanced content & improved search functionality allowing members and even non-members to interact with the Chamber online very easily & in a better manner. Keeping this user experience firmly in mind and to make the website compatible with modernized browsers and mobile devices, team Indus Net(INT.) has redesigned the ICC website using HTML5. The restyled website boasts a modern, colourful design with easy navigation. It now showcases the happenings at different states separately and one can check them from the main website itself. New additions are event booking section with payment gateway integration and media section; and all of these newly added features enable members to submit event registrations, give access to newsletters and publications, help to check events calendar & much more directly from their own offices. To add onto this, members would be able to book auditoriums and reception rooms for business meetings & events at the chambers directly through this website shortly. Also, on the way is the mobile version of the same website for more accessibility. While giving the old ICC website the desired look, we have worked closely with Indian Chamber of Commerce. H’Ble CM Of West Bengal Launches ‘Smart Bardhaman’ Mobile App: Indus Net Technologies(INT.), a Proud Technology Partner

Yet another moment for all of us at Indus Net Technologies(INT.) to bag the pride! As it is rightly said by our Founder and CEO, Mr. Abhishek Rungta, “Digital media will soon empower each one of us to participate and act in the governance of our nation.” Team INT has once again given a new shape to the notion of citizens taking an active hand in governing themselves after the successful development of SMS based Poll Management System for Chief Electoral Office of West Bengal and MyGov app for the Government of India. As more cities and towns are exploring the benefits of digital gadgets, such tools are fast becoming a platform for civic engagement as well. The rolling innovation of mobile apps is radically lowering the cost of collaboration and the distance between the government and the citizens they serve. To help the society of Bardhaman utilize such technological advancements, we have designed and developed the ‘Smart Bardhaman’ mobile app to enable citizens of Bardhaman to smoothly interact with their local Governments without the need to step into the municipal buildings. This Citizen Governance Mobile App is launched by none other than our Hon’ble Chief Minister Smt. Mamata Banerjee at her 100th administrative meeting at the district of Bardhaman. The app is designed as a single point for accessing information of all citizen governance departments of Bardhaman District. It intends to help public make their voice heard against departments including the Panchayat Samiti, Block and Sub-Divisional offices, Municipalities or PWD regarding the management of primary infrastructures as roads, street lights, drainage issues, water supply and many more to add. Citizens’ grievances related to construction of Rural Housing, 100 days work, Panchayat, Elections, SC/ST/OBC Certificates, Ration Card and Ration Supply,  Social Pension or Motor Vehicles can also be lodged through the ‘Grievance Registration Form’ in this application. Besides, one can also view their grievance status through a unique registration User ID that is auto-generated once a complaint is lodged. In addition, information on different Government schemes including ‘Minority Scholarships’, ‘Vocational and Industrial Training’ or ‘Kanyashree’ can be accessed through this extremely user-friendly mobile app. Without a shadow of doubt, the citizens of Bardhaman now have better transparency, when it comes to reporting their concerns about the problems in the district. To add to this, Mr. Rungta also mentioned about how Smartphone applications are becoming crucial in conveying public welfare plans and bringing transparency in the administrative sector. Citizens of Bardhaman District can now download this free app from Google Play Store and exercise their rights for fair and accountable governance in the Public Utility Domain. Yet another proud moment for all of us at Indus Net Technologies(INT.)! Team INT. is proud to be a part of the much talked-of campaign “Digital India”, initiated by the Hon’ble Prime Minister of India, Shri Narendra Modi. Held at the Indira Gandhi Stadium of New Delhi on 1st July, 2015, this is the visionary program of Shri Narendra Modi, organized to present the Government of India’s initiative for digitizing the country. This initiative is believed to take India to a new height where the country would have an economy with connected knowledge and strong leadership. This Digital India initiative is even expected to enhance the collaboration between the Government and tech companies. In fact, many of the big players like the Aditya Birla Group, the Bharti Group etc. have already started playing a significant role in the digitalization of the country of India. As the entire IT industry is highly banking on this visionary program of Shri Narendra Modi, Indus Net Technologies(INT.), in association with the National Informatics Centre, proudly contributes to this initiative by developing the mobile app for MyGov.in. Though we have got a number of Government projects like the development of websites for Lok Sabha, Ministry of Human Resource and Development, Ministry of Tourism, NIMHANS and many more to our credit, however, being a part of the Digital Media initiative is a bit more special. As our Founder and CEO, Mr. Abhishek Rungta said, “The current engagement will empower the citizens with the mobile app for MyGov, thus allowing people to act and participate on the move.” The MyGov app is a crowd sourcing platform that allows the Indian Government to connect directly with the citizens of India and vice-versa. Launched at the aforementioned event, this mobile application will allow Indian citizens to directly contribute to decision making of the Government, thus, enabling good governance. Through this application, citizens of India would be able to make their voice heard on several important social initiatives of the India Government like Clean Ganga, Clean India, Girl Child Education, Skilled India, Job Creation, Digital India etc. Aimed at offering a seamless mobile user experience, the app, thus developed by us, includes a number of sections like My Activities, Creative Corners, My Updates, In-App Alerts, Push Notifications etc., each of which would flash details about the different social initiatives of the Government of India and would even allow the users to share views and participate in online discussions and debates. The Android based app would even enable users to take pictures on a real time basis using the phone camera and use the photo gallery of the phone used for attaching images while posting comments. Indus Net Technologies (INT.) Wins the National PR Day Award of Excellence

It is surely another moment of pride for us – the Indus Net family! This week we have been awarded with the National PR Day Award of Excellence by the Public Relation Society of India (PRSI), the national association of PR practitioners in the country. Organized by the Kolkata Chapter of PRSI, this award included a number of categories like initiative supporting Education, Childcare, Senior Citizens CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility), Social Event Communication CSR etc. Indus Net Technologies was selected to be honored with this prestigious award for the category of CSR/Social Event Communication. To respect the National PR Day, PRSI not just named the award after the day but even planned to hand over the award to the winners on 21st April, which is observed as the National PR Day in India. Organized by the PRSI, Kolkata Chapter, the award distribution ceremony was held on 21st April, 2015 at Nazrul Tirtha in New Town of Kolkata from 5 pm onwards. The award was conferred to us considering one of our CSR activity that we conducted in association with Durbar Mahila Samanwaya Committee, a Kolkata based organization for the development and well-being of sex workers & their children. Though Indus Net Technologies (INT.) , for the past 17+ years, has always been an active social contributor and has taken keen interest in offering social services to people in need from time to time, still this CSR activity named “Gift of Joy – Travel beyond boundaries to make a child smile” was a bit special. It was an initiative to give a little joy to the children of sex workers and to make Christmas of the year 2013 memorable for those deprived children, who have to go through a lot of social restrictions every day. We specifically chose those children, considering the disrespect society still has for the sex workers that in turn highly affects the basic joy of their children. For us, it makes much more sense to make such children smile, even if for a day; and it was this noble thought of INT family that probably touched the heart of the respectable jury members of the National PR Day Award of Excellence. The jury constituted of some of the eminent personalities from different professions whose names are as follows: P. K. Choudhury, Vice Chairman, ISRA Jimmy Tangree, Station Head, 93.5 Red F.M. Chandan Roy Chowdhury, Secretary, Bengal Olympic Association Ardhendu Banerjee, Actor/Theatre Personality Apart from the aforementioned jury members, a number of eminent personalities were present at the award distribution ceremony; and among them Mr. Ravindra Chamaria, CMD of Infinity Infotech Parks, handed over the National PR Day Award of Excellence to us. By giving out this award to us, the jury members and the Public Relation Society of India, Kolkata Chapter made “Gift of Joy” memorable for us once again. The event was already a special one for all of us at INT as through this event, we could spend a memorable day with some of the underprivileged children of the society.

The e-commerce website of Poompuhar (the other name for Tamil Nadu Handicrafts Development Corporation Limited) that was developed by Indus Net Technologies (INT.) was recently inaugurated by Shri P. Mohan, the Rural Industries’ Minister.   Team INT.  has recently helped Poompuhar to take a step forward towards the e-commerce industry. Named after an ancient coastal city of Tamil Nadu, this emporium sells handicraft items created by the artisans of Tamil Nadu. The emporium even offers a range of Indian art and sculptures. Owing to the increasing craze for online shopping among the Indian citizens and the huge business benefits of e-commerce, the corporation felt the need for an e-commerce website for marketing its products; and hence, they contacted us & decided to assign us the website design and development project. We were assigned such a prestigious project keeping in mind our 17+ years of experience in website development that includes design, development, customization and revamping of different kinds of websites.
